I am also planning a Florida trip and am wondering if you have any ideas on successfully avoiding the winged creatures (mosquitos)? I’ve heard that a drier sheet placed in your hat will keep gnats from buzzing around your head but don’t have a good strategy for mosquitos. Let me know if you have any ideas to try.

Just put on lots of bug spray.
And lemon or lime juice.
